ACCESS ID (AKA PASSWORD)Your personal account code that allows you to access your conference. Participants will use this access ID/passcode to join your conference.


ACCESS PHONE NUMBERThe telephone number you will call to reach our bridge equipment, which allows you to begin your conference call.


ANNOTATIONUsing the pointing tool, you can annotate pages and files within a Web Conference for all of your guests to view.


ATTENDEEA participant in a Web Conference restricted to viewing and chat only. An attendee is not in control of a Web Conference and cannot annotate or create a slideshow.


CHATThe text box where participants in a Web Conference can view everyone's typed comments. Chat is similar to Instant Messaging.



CONFERENCE
ENTRY CODE
Also called Passcode. A five- or six-digit code entered after clients have connected to the conference call which directs them to the appropriate meeting.


DIAL-IN CODE
(PASSCODE)
This is an Audio Conference code used by Hosts and Guests to access the teleconference.


DIAL-OUT
CONFERENCE
The Host of an Audio Conference, first dials into the teleconference then individually dials out to guests, connecting them to the Audio Conference.


DIGITAL
RECORD/PLAYBACK
This feature provides interactive digital recordings of an Audio Conference, Announcements, and Questionnaires. Similar to Voicemail, Digital Record/Playback allows each listener to control the playback of the recording and interact with it by recording comments and/or questions.


E-BOXElectronics box (the main codec box) of a group videoconferencing system.


FRAME RATEThe rate at which individual pictures (frames) in a sequence are displayed in a video conference. Frame rate is measured in frames per second (fps).


GUESTPerson or Persons attending a conference but not Hosting the meeting.


GUEST CODEGuest's Passcode used to join an Audio and/or Web Conference.


GUEST SPEAKERRefers to a second or third party involved during a presentation style conference call to speak while the large portion of attendance is muted and listening only top material presented.


HOSTPerson conducting the conference. This person determines and controls all aspects of the conference.


HOST CODEHost's Passcode used to activate an Audio and/or Web Conference.


OPERATOR ASSISTED CALLSFull service support conference call for up to 2500 participants guided by a skilled and professional operator from the start of the call to the finish.


PASSCODE
(DIAL-IN CODE)
This is a six-digit Audio Conference code used by Hosts and Guest to access the teleconference.


PRESENTERThe individual running the Web Conference. Presenters can use the full functionality of the Web Conference, promoting and demoting Attendees.


RESERVATIONLESS
TOLL-FREE DIAL-IN
Reservationless Toll-Free Dial-In Service provides you with a Toll-Free telephone number and two codes to access the conference. One code (Host Code) is for you the second is for any participants (Guest Code) both codes are a six-digit number, and do not require operator assistance to join the conference call. All participants dial into the conference call from any phone in any location nationwide, at no cost to them. The host can invite up to 40 participants and conduct an audio conference call at any time.

Even though our Reservationless Service gives control of the call to the Host an operator is always available 24/7 for assistance by pressing *0 on your telephone keypad.


TELECOMMUNICATIONSCommunication at a distance via telephone.


TELECONFERENCEHolding an Audio Conference - with people remote from one another - by means of telephones.


WEB CONFERENCEInteractive real-time visual conference via the Internet that compliments an Audio Conference with supporting images, such as PowerPoint Presentations.
